What we do
Behind every successful young leader is usually a mentor who believed in them. AYLC runs one of Tanzania's most intentional mentorship programs, matching young people with experienced professionals across business, government, civil society, faith and the creative industries.
Our model is structured, not casual. Each mentor-mentee pair commits to a 6-month cycle with monthly meetings, clear goals, accountability check-ins and a closing impact review. Mentors receive onboarding, tools and ongoing support from AYLC so that the relationship is productive from day one.
Beyond one-to-one matching, we host group coaching cohorts on themes like career transitions, leadership in faith spaces, and women in leadership — creating safe spaces for honest growth.
